I get a faulty TEST Kit last week, after some RROD, I decided to check the HDD.
I disassemble the unit and connect the HDD to an USB2 adapter, but I can't access the HDD
    I tried Xplorer360 but it doesn't work

If someone get an idea ;-)

I would first try to use the latest Xplorer360 Beta. That's what I had to use once when I was backing up a dev hard drive.

If that doesn't work, then I would try to connect it to your computer via SATA, instead of USB. After you have it connected, then try to use Xplorer360.

    Hope this helps.

Also, after you get it backed up, I would do backups around every 2 months, just overwrite the last backup made.

pretty sure Xplorer only works with certain partitioned fatx hdds. That was the reason the extreme edition was released so it would support the 120gb.

    You can always try tho.

    Yeah, it does.
If all else fails, not that I would primarily recommend it, but look for a peice of software called XPort.
It comes bundled with a HDD and MemCard reader, but its the app that you may want to give a go.

If not, could there possibly be any drivers of some sort?
