Bad Sega Genesis resistor I think? Can anyone help verify what value it should be?

So I purchased a model II genesis on ebay and when it arrived I got no power. I decided to take a look under the hood. After some tinkering it looks like the resistor up by the power plug died and leaked.

I shorted the both ends of the connection and now the genesis is working just fine. However I feel like I should try to connect the two leads with a resistor that is rated similar to what was there before to be on the safe side. Any one know what the value should be?

The closest i could find is maybe its a Phillips 0.125 watt, 25%, 100 ohm resistor: http://www.questcomp.com/InventoryItems.aspx?pn=RC04H&matchid=58510220
