Bad things happened at acclaim pickup this week

    So far this week , it's been bad.

    A fellow collector had his entire lot stolen.
    $900 and a boxload of unreleased n64, snes, and gb all gone.

    Tampering:

    My lots were altered, items swapped or pulled until I paid more money, sometimes 3-4x more money. All of the sudden $250 becomes $1000, after knock down.

    NR burner gone and sent to nintendo.
    Broken dev units swapped into previously inspected lots of good units.
    My two PSTOOL gone.

    They are , by disclaimer, not responsible for items left after auction.
    I came in at about 10am the day after, and the poor guy was jacked of all his betas.

    Good thing I kept pictures of lots as bid on and inspected so I could compare.

    Definately am sorry to hear..just hope they can catch whoever was fucking with the auctions, its not right , not right at all!!!!

    I wonder if the same will happen in Texas? That auction is today... I've seen the catalogue and there's some nice stuff there! Shame noone is going... and it is definately licensed devvers only.

    They have some Saturn stuff there! :smt022 I want badly!

    Could just anyone access this stuff or what? If I had a box full of snes,gb & n64 protos I sure as hell wouldnt leave it unattended if someone could just grab the stuff.

    inside job ? try saying a worker in the different companies that does not want that any of the devs ever come out and working these are my thoughts.

    You had to leave your lots until the next day. The guy he's talking about had to go home to Nevada and with their rules he had no choice.

    I read that they have a tape showing the guy whos lot was next to his (protos) took it and they called or will call him.

    The holder of the auction apparently has the right to charge him more for the items he won. It was something hidden in the contract.

    Just try to get the good stuff thats over there out of there asap. If i lived near there I'd help ya out, seriously.
