Thanks The PS2 MGS2 Promo was £40 and the MGS2 Xbox promo was USD $550/£340 The Xbox version was so expencive because it's a still in development version and there are only only 5 to 10 of these in existance. I did originally want to spend a maximum of $300 for it but other people where also interested in it and it may never come up for sale again.
LOL awesome collection, btw i have a copy of metal gear solid snake eater official guide signed by hideo kojima himself, how much do you think that would be worth? it's in pretty good condition too and LOL i have the metal gear solid 4 game reward card too.
You could easily get around £60 to £80 for a signed guide book and it's a rarer item than other signed items as most people got their games signed. I would keep hold of it though because the value will only increase over time.
Metal Gear [NTSC JPN] [Famicom] <<< the excellent shape is very similar to wt I sold to someone in eBay. Maybe it's you. Haha =]
Very nice MGS collection. Makes me a little nostalgic after I sold most of mine last year to help fund the ever-growing Resident Evil collection!
Hi buddy, Not sure if you're still collecting MGS stuff for your ever growing collection but this guy has some pretty cool MGS gear: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI....7445&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT#ht_11162wt_1139 I feel so tempted to bid on some of the items listed but I promised myself I wouldn't (will power do your thing)! Keep up the good work!
These are my recent arivals MGS3 Extreme DVD Set Comics The Art of Metal Gear Solid MGS3 Snake Eater Big Display Box Size compared to regular ps2 game Metal Gear Acid 2 Mini Japan Standee Ghost Babel Guide Book
I'd snap that GA-KO Alarm Clock up anyday of the week, I don't care about debt, if I showed my bank I'm sure they'd understand. How much did that cost you?
I found the Alarm clock on ebay for £55 last year from a french seller, since then I haven't seen one sell less than £100. It's one of my favorite items because it really stands out on a MGS display.
I think it's a great item because not only is it collectible, but it's practical, and other people, not just collectors, will probably like it!
A fantastic collection - truly amazing! Good to see you've got the HD Collection imported. I'm waiting for my copy from PlanetAxel, who have no stock and don't know when they'll be getting any more in :crying: By the way, where did you find that Foxhound mug? That is seriously cool.
BamBoo: totally smashing great collection, but where is the PC versions of that brilliant fantastic game series ? I mean if you really are a hardcore nut(said with love), then go for all the PC versions (including the old and ugly dos version), and perhaps even the C64 version, and the Nokia Ngage version ? oh well, I am rambling and drooling a bit that collection is splendid I have actually tried the Nokia version (I have deleted long ago), on my N5800. And it bloody worked
As I've probably said before being a MGS fan really amazing collection! I have to ask though why did they choose to bundle the collection in a PS1 style case when it doesn't even include MGS 1?
@ WolverineDK One day I will buy the PC version and I still look out for it now and then but they usually have bashed up box's. @ JamesMichael That HD collection I have is the promo version given to the press and some game retailers to play in their stores and come in a slim cd single case and the game on the right is a demo. The retail version will be in a regular PS3/XBOX box.
