"Banned" vigilante 8 commercial for N64

    This was pulled almost immediately, as the columbine massacre occured
    shortly after this was aired.

    There had also been complaints over the cursing schoolgirl.

    The n64 version of the 1st one was pretty good. The 2nd one had issues but could have been a really cool game if there was more variety and the vehicles controlled better.

    the 1st one and the first Battletanx were both nice games. I remember spending nights with friends + pizza , with those games rented from blockbuster xD

    I love the first game on the N64 :D One of my most played N64 games.

    The dc port was garbage, and if I remember right, not by the same team

    what are you on about.. this game was brilliant!

    played it to death on the psx back in the days.. never tried any other version tho.

    The dc version was crap compared to the n64

    I loved the DC port of the second game. It actually had decent draw distance unlike the PSX original.

    You could actually see the ground when you go rocketed into the sky on the space shuttle level.

    Why did Luxoflux have to go from making awesome V8 to shitty True Crime :-(

    I would love to see a PS3/360 V8, especially since Incognic is tied up with Warhawk for the time being.

    I don't think it's fair to compare the DC port to the PSX version. The N64 version was the king - I believe it was the intended platform

    It was indeed. A great n64 game.
    The dc port was sort of the "end" of the franchise.
