Bare Xbox 360 Launch team console

Ok, I am going to try this again....What is this worth as is (has RROD and is missing the controller, faceplate, and HDD)?

 

Warranty seal or not? Basically paying for the panels if it's an unrepairable error, what is the error it's having for instance the RROD count, error message on screen, secondary code?

 

3 red rings.....i believe top left ring doesnt light up. The seal is intact but can't tell if it has been messed with (right where the seam is in the shell the label is disturbed). I have pictures to post but I am not home right now. Also the one time I fired it up it displayed nothing on screen. Will try it again when I get home.

 

Try the secondary code when you get a chance and let us know. If the price is right, I would be interested if you're looking to sell.

If it's dated 11-9-2005 and factory sealed $75 - $125.00. They make for great looking faceplate holders!

For $79.00 you can still get it repaired, wonder when the 360 EOL is?

Is a LT 2005 worth less if serviced by MS or less if it has RROD?

 

Good question. Mine has been officially repaired by MS and has caused some to question it's authenticity because of the later than launch date repair date on back. Fortunately they relabled over the old one so I can prove my date, not that there are that many people who actually question my Launch Team console.

 

Does the Service Date label have the same serial number as the original label or does it get issued a new serial number by MS?

 

Good questions Syclopse I am curious to know too! I actually registered the console with Microsoft and began the online repair process (started but did not finish it) to find out if the console was banned. It appears that it is not....so Xbox Surgeon what would you do if you were in my shoes? The label does appear to be disturbed somewhat. Should I harvest a better warranty label and try to send it in? Or keep it as RROD?

Pft, I'd easily give you $75 for it. But yes thats the going rates. $75-$125 depending on if its opened and condition (for RROD consoles)

 

I won't be selling it for 75 dollars. At that rate it is better to just keep it and try to get it repaired by microsoft.

 

You cant get it repaired by Microsoft. This console was given to a member of the xbox 360 development team and if they recieve it from somone that obviously isn't one of their employees, they will think it has been stolen and confiscate it and/or replace it with a new one for the inconvenience.
