Hi guys, I've been collecting 3DO stuff for a couple of years now, and I've never seen this before: http://ruliweb3.empas.com/ruliboard/read.htm?main=av&table=img_retro&page=1&num=205&find=&ftext=&left=&time= Battle Blues for the 3DO published by LG. I'd never even heard of it until today. Is there an easy way of getting retro games out of Korea? Can anyone help me? This game doesn't appear any of the 3DO game lists and it makes Firewall for the 3DO look positively well known! Will
if you read the comment this is one of rare release and apparently fetch very high price IF you can find one... It's also mentioned this is one of only three LG 3DO Alive titles released for 3DO in Korea before LG pulled the plug
LG (Goldstar) didn't release the 3DO in Korea until 1995, as most game sites that mention the 3DO in Korea are in Korean it's hard to get definate release titles for Korea. You could try Babelfish but that turns most Koreani into gibberish. The release date of this game is 1996 which was the last year of the 3DO before the plug was pulled on the system as a whole. LG / Goldstar did publish more then 3 games but I am aware that there are 2 Korean only games. To show how much gibberish Babelfish makes of korean. Guess these games systems. The tax shook off the bird Super plaque America Is and to sprout [removed] where it shakes off That or luck five D tax As another point, has anyone seen any hard evidence that the Goldstar / LG 3DO Alive II exists? A number of websites mention it but I've never seen anything apart from the Goldstar 3DO Alive (Korean name of the Goldstar 3DO Interactive Player).
Same here never saw one in real life or ebay, even asked about it to korean friends so it looks like it never got released sadly enough as the design is very cool and I would love to own one! Just a couple of websites mention it accompanied by the same picture, so it looks like the sites just copied it from 1 source.
Thanks chaps! I ran the Korean text through google and it seemed a very hap-hazard translation to say the least.
I won it. I kinda think the guy screwed himself out of more bidders with his bad auction title. Misspelled and didnt have '3do' in it. I only noticed it because I happened to look all the items he had for sale. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=290579188049 -ack
Would've placed a bid if I'd known about it. Any chance you can get me/the world a couple of decent screen captures? All I have so far is really bad quality: http://www.hardcoregaming101.net/korea/part2/company-lg.htm#battleblues
