I saw the reviews for Battlefield Bad Company 2 and I saw how well it did. If you haven't seen any of them this video shows most of them. It has great reviews, but can it take down Modern Warfare? That's obviously what EA is trying to do, but I don't think it can do it. What do you guys think?

i play both games but, in my opinion, bad company 2 is definately better. first of all, bad company has more realistic characters. the soldiers are worried about the miscellaneous situations and they want to go home. Furthermore, the realsistic and grafic is way better than the other title. On the other side is modern warefare. the soldier are horny to kill some people and the characters are undefined and unknown for me. Noone love the war, only sadistic people they have psychological problems. finally, games shouldnt motivate the people to make war.

I played MW2. Not a fan really. I've only played the demo of Bad Company 2 and it was pretty cool.

My opinion is not worth much though. I've only played Bad Company for all of 30 mins maybe. lol

I don't think there's anyway it's gonna take down Call of Duty though.

EDIT: This should also probably be moved into the "general gaming" forum...

Wow.. It's a tie. I played the first Bad Company and I thought it kind of sucked. So I can't expect much from the second. I vote against Bad Company 2.

I like the 'arcadier' feel of MW2 personally. I do appreciate the realism of BC2, but it's just not my thing. Plus I'm too much of a tard to calculate bullet drop...

Modern Warfare 2 is more jump in jump out and is good for a mess-a-bout on. There's no doubt its a good game but right now it is FULL of holes as in there are a lot of bugs and glitches that just need fixing. There is a patch on its way for a lot of these but it's likely more will just pop up. The fact it has sold millions is in my opinion another of its downfalls.Bad Company 2 is just awesome, how anyone can say otherwise is beyond me. The graphics are brilliant, vehicles, destructible environments, the team play, guns etc. To answer your question about the 'modern' aspect It has modern guns, modern equipment, modern vehicles and modern settings (maps) however they feel much more large scale and war-like.
