It seems completely pointless to publish the same auction 5 or so times. Looks a bit dodgy to me.

and he sold every one at $50?
now if you are going to get 5 BBA it would cost at leaset $400+ on good days...

I wonder where he get those 5 BBA at below $50 each???

I think the winner of the last auction, ddp72984, used to be a member of the old board. Can anyone confirm?

    yep thats me

I jumped at the change for a BBA for 50 beans, but I too, heard this same story from gamefaqs, then went to this person's records to see that they have sold 5 in the last hour for 50 bucks each. I havent paid yet, but I'm wondering if I should. What do you guys say?

Looks like the modem. Isn't the ethernet jack on the BBA metal, not black plastic?

The pictures look really sketchy to me, although I haven't seen a BBA in person.

Look at the picture. It's all grainy and the auction is in all caps. And for $50....and 5 of them!?

If it's too good to be true, it probably is.

It could be the LAN adapter, the GHETTO BBA model that has alot of issues, not a true BBA. You should have asked for a part number before you bid.

They were selling too fast to ask questions.

BTW, they all might be broken. The seller is selling them "as-is" (seen in his return policy.)

it turns out those were nothing more than regular modem adaptors.
The seller apparently will refund the money to those not satisfied - course not satisfied. I'd report the seller right away to eBay as well as ask Paypal to refund the money if I got scammed like that.

let's hope the seller keep his words...
