I received a copy of Beatmania Da Da Da! a few days ago.

Unfortunately I do not have the official Konami USB Keyboard. I've tried two different USB keyboards and I always get this message when I plug a keyboard in:

I cannot read Japanese. I'd be happy if anyone could translate this message for me.

btw, my USB keyboards do work fine with Typing Of The Dead.

It says, "This isn't a USB keyboard. Please connect a Konami USB keyboard." That is basically what it says. Funny that it says your Keyboard isn't a USB one when it obviously is if it's connected.

Do you think a Sega Typing of the dead keyboard would work for this game, or does it have to be a Konami keyboard?

Hmm, I have no idea but it wouldn't surprise me if it had to be a Konami brand.

    Yakumo thanks for your help.

I even tried the official Sony PlayStation2 keyboard from the Linux Kit. It seems that you really need the Konami keyboard. What a pity.

No problem. Talking of Konami keyboards, I wonder if the piano Konami keyboard works on a PC midi program? I should try mine out on a PC.

If it's MIDI, then sure. No idea if it's USB though.
