So I`m off work cause I have the flu and I can barely move. I`d love to do some gaming but the damned theraflu shit has rendered my hand eye coordination worthless. Hell I don`t think I could even set up any of the stuff I would like to use in this condition. I guess I should be sleeping anyway. Not having anyone around to take care of you just sucks so bad.
So you took some type of medicine, and it makes you a little lethargic, maybe not see straight... feel a little woozy. Some things not as they seem? Sounds fun to me. But yeah, the flu part sucks though. I never get the flu... I get the demon stomach virus about once every 2-3 years. Had to go to the emergency room last time. Doctor violated me. No extra charge.
Yeah it`s really freaking weird. it`s taking me twice as long to even type than usual too. Maybe someone spiked my flu medicine with acid... It`s times like this that I wish I had finished fixing my N64... I`m in no shape to complete te repairs, but I`d love some conker action right about now.

It's no better when you live as a married person with kids. When you are ill you can hear them all downstairs laughing, banging about, watching TV (that always seems so much louder when you are feeling crap). From time to time someone will burst in and say 'Oh, sorry thought you were up!' or 'Dad, can you...' - enjoy being ill on your own mate! :drool:
yea, besides, some people would kill for a lie-in ! I myself cant stay in bed if I wake up, so being ill is always enjoyable to some degree. Put some classical music while you re at it, and turn the volume down a bit, it should offer you some pleasure..
AH good point Parris. I`m feeling a bit better now and am able to walk about and get myself things and it`s not so bad. I meant that it wasn`t very enjoyable not being able to even get up to make myself soup or get a glass of water.
I couldn`t quite get the hang of playing anything in that condition. I tried playing Vectorman(a childhood favorite of mine) but I just could not get the timing down. I felt like it was a game just trying to anticipate my own movements before I could interact with the game environment. So far today Splatterhouse and Beats of Rage are going alright. Does anyone know where I can get some decent BOR mods? BORrevolution seems to have been down for quite some time now.

Yeah, last year I got two strep infections, once was a serious strep throat, and it turned into a bacterial pneumonia which really fucked me up. The first strep , I thought was over when I had dealt with it. And eaten my meds, but not long afterwards (three weeks or so), there I went to the hospital for one day, and got shots of drugs in my system. To kickstart the treatment, and I got a week of pill treatment. And it was on the hospital, they said to me, I maybe had a bloodclot in my lung, but luckily I "only" had bacterial pneumonia. But still I was sick. This time I caught it early, so I am on the highest miligram (800 MG) pills, two pills twice a day.
