I'm sorry, but I just don't understand that. Please explain it to me.

 

i liked shadow the hedgehog because of the replay value and i kinda liked using the guns in the game the graphics are nice and well detailed and the music rocked i dont care what people say about the game if i like a game ill like a game


and the reason i dont like kingdom hearts 2 is because i found the plot soooo dumb and the gameplay repetetive but thats my opinion if u like it thats fine

 

I don't really know what my best would be, but Michigan is pretty terrible game, i hesitate to even call it a game.

 

ive never heard of that one i might have to research it

Espgaluda (even though I no longer own this game)

Those are the ones that come to mind - I don't have my PS2 games in front of me at the moment, so I can't say for sure. I'll update this once I've had a chance to look at them.

I can't think of any really awful PS2 games. I'm sure there are tons of them, but most of the games I've played are pretty good. I've played the Xbox version of Sonic Heroes and thought it was fucking awful.

 

I respect your opinion.. but frankly, it seems like you didn't play a lot of bad games in your life if you think those are "the worst".
Dog's Life was a very fresh and unique concept (still is) and Disgaea is one of the best games in the whole genre.

Anyways.

 

Was going to post this too, but even thought is one of my favourites as well, it's not one of the best for the system.

Thinking about it, i miss Namco from the PS1 days.

 

You're probably right about that. It is a good game, though. I like the fact that it doesn't use deflicker, so it looks nice and crisp (though flickery) on my PVM.

 

To me, the best is either Timesplitters: Future Perfect (also known as Timesplitters 3, a *superb* first person shooter) or the first person shooter/RPG hybrid Deus Ex: The Conspiracy (which is the PC game Deus Ex, by a different name, and some minor/minor-ish changes).

I can't remember which game(s) I'd consider the PS2's worst, as when I really dislike a game I never play it again, so tend to forget about it, but as for the most disappointing, I'd probably say either Unreal Tournament (which I love on the PC, and frustratingly the PS2 version is almost very good, except for a few minor omissions and a *major*, MAJOR flaw - the auto-aim is far too generous and you can't turn it off, so that it removes the need for much skill on the players part, I HATE HATE HATE this as it ruins the game for me), or The Getaway, which is a GTA 3 style game set in England, and again it's almost excellent aside from a few game-ruing design decisions that make me unable to tolerate the game. A real pity.

well, im really on the edge with "best". There's plenty of games that shine in one way or another, but propably my overall favourite is indeed Ar Tonelico. I keep getting back to this game over and over and over again for some reason, and
each time i'll just enjoy it just as much as the first time

As for the worst, the whole KH series just ticks me off.
It's not like it has shit graphics or bad gameplay per se, i just cant stand the raped FF characters screwing around with Donald and Goofy, makes me literally facepalm every single time i hear about it.

 

Shadow of the Colossus is hands down the greatest PS2 game.

No arguments, if you argue, you're wrong and I won't listen!

Worst:
Don't have enough of a collection to judge this upon, same for the lack of best games too.

 

I would agree, except the slowdown always bothered me. The PS3 version, on the other hand, completely eliminated the slowdown.
