what ps3 games did you like and what ps3 games did you not like here's mine best ps3 games tekken 6: i never got why people hate this so much the graphics are good,the gameplay just like tekken 5 did,the roaster is decently sized so whats everyones issue with it i dunno i personaly enjoyed it so yeah ^^ puppeteer:a very underrated gem for the ps3 that barley anyone played for some reason its visually stunning ,the gameplay is tones of fun and its just a good quality 2d platformer i think this game was overshadowed by more popular platformers like little big planet or something i dunno i just think this game needs more love because it deserves it. journey:in my opinion the best looking game ever made i mean i could play this game just to look at it its like someone painted the entire game,i also liked the atmosphere in this game it gives you the feeling of being alone and lost on the harsh desert its truly a wounderful experience worst ps3 games hyperdemension neptunia:the game that put me off modern jrpgs this game is just urgh the graphics look like crap,the music is garbage,the gameplay is boring as hell the only thing this game did ok was its unique premise truly a disapointment(thank god persona 4 golden was good thank god) little big planet:im gonna get hate for this one but i just found i boring visualy its nice but the gameplay is just bland to me and as for the while creation side to iy you have to be really good at level editing to enjoy it which im not lol so yeah i find this game ovverated demonsouls:to hard to me to enjoy thats all i need to say really oh and the gameplay was just not my thing so thats mine whats yours??
For me i would have to say some of the best p23 games are. Demon's/Dark souls: One of the best if not the best games of last generation. A action RPG that doesn't hold your hand, and a gripping story, and atmosphere, that is told in a very different way than most games. Truly addicting gameplay, and such a sense of accomplishment when completing task in the game. 3D dot game heroes: an Homage to the original legend of Zelda. This game is full of charm and just good old classic gameplay. Street fighter 4: Many give the game flack because its to "simple" or it doesn't play as well as SF2 or 3s. Putting that all aside though, street fighter 4 has brought fighting games back to the forefront, and i love it for that reason. I also just really enjoy the gameplay. It's very reminiscent of SF2, with new features to have it appeal to a wider audience As for worse ps3 games, this one is pretty hard,because I usually do enough research to not buy games that i feel i wouldn't like. King of fighters XII: A stepping stone for the highly superior KOF XIII Castlevania, Lords of Shadow: I hate this game, and what it has done to the castlevania franchise. Its a shame that it sold very well, and Konami will most likely continue making castelvania games like this. It is basically a god of war clone, and a bad one at that.

You not enjoying a game because it's too hard for you = one of the worst PS3 games. I don't think that's how it works. I personally loved the Demon's Souls series. Dark Souls in particular was furiously difficult, and I loved it. It took me over 100hr. of in-depth gameplay to get a 100% complete playthrough, not even including NG+. In my own personal experience, people who say it was too hard just don't give it more than an hour. It's highly addictive, with simplistic and nicely weighted combat, complete with an incredibly isolated and dark atmosphere (not to mention the immense amount of lore to explore). And I still haven't gotten sick of the multi-player after 9 months.
I'd go Lightning Returns. Its multiplatform but its just so awful that its the worst thing I put in my ps3 I think. Battles give no experience, your running around a bland city trying to fetch things. The combat system is changed from FF 13 and is just a chore. Awful game in every respect.
Actually, considering this thread is an opinion-based one, that is entirely how it works (regardless of what you think of his reasoning). I haven't played too much PS3, but I gotta second munchiaz on King of Fighters XII being one of the worst of what I've played. No story, no boss characters, smallest roster in the mainstream KoF series... ugh. KoF13 totally makes up for it, however (though I'd like to see SNK simply transition to 3D graphics for the next KoF, seeing as the beautiful sprite-based graphics came at the cost of roster size and some characters losing moves for both 12 and 13).
Best: Lords of Shadow, The Last of Us, both immensely brilliant, MGS4 Worst: Bionic Commando boring/repetitive and Killzone 2 for being so damn buggy on me!
I haven't played it on PS3, but I'd go with Sonic 06 as the worst multiplat of this gen. As for best PS3 game, I enjoyed the Littlebigplanet games, even the kart racer. It's no Mario Kart, but it'll do.
"It's no Mario Kart" has become a compliment after how shitty Mario Kart Wii was. Anyway, best PS3 games: Yakuza 3, LittleBigPlanet 2, Ni No Kuni. Worst: Doctor Who: The Eternity Clock, Heavy Rain, Beyond Two Souls.
lol it was since Symphony of the Night it's been the only decent Castlevania to come out on non-portables, if you need to hate any Castlevania hate the N64 and PS2 releases that was really shite!!! I'm playing LoS2 and that's not a good as the first one Castlevania is a modern setting. I'm really not sure..
I honestly tried to give lords of shadow a try. I played it for more than a few hours,and i just couldn't get into it. I don't know if its because i love the metroidvania,and classic castlevanias so much. But it just wasn't for me .
The main reason behind the lack of love for this series lies in the game type. Fighting games thrive on playing other players, in current times that now translates into great netcode for online play. Namco fighting games have terrible netcode, this has been the case since tekken first went online. And has continued into their newer games like Tekken Revolution. Its playable but the players who keep the game alive by playing online and going to tournaments have dropped drastically. No namco fighting game is even in the EVO 2014 lineup!! That's crazy
