    Hi,

i bought an copy of the treasure pearl and want now the right stick for it.
I played it before with normal controller but not really ...
I know that the Hori ones has good quality at all.
    Any sugestions?
The HSS-0136 or the Hori or?
I also checked the prices. Here is no WTB thread, but im happy if you can offer me something.

custom build i'd say, although for RS normal saturn pad is fine due to the 6 button config for the weapons,

Hm i think you are faster with a stick as with one finger pushing D-pad. I like sticks more for such games.
Yeah custom one maybe an option. I had the SEGA Virtua Stick Version 1 before, looks good but the stick was in bad condition.

If you want to be real hardcore then but the Sega Saturn Astro City arcade stick! It's an actual Astro City cabinet arcade stick (2 players) built just for use on the Saturn. I had one of these at one point. They're real bad boys. The king of home console sticks for sure. If this is too big then the standard arcade stick is a very good choice. (The white one, not the crappy gray one)

Virtua Stick HSS-0136 is cool, but the parts aren't the absolute best and it's really, really hard to change that (button holes don't have a common diameter).
If you don't absolutely *need* arcade part quality, then this is the way to go.

A slightly cheaper alternative of similar quality but with optional turbo-fire on all buttons is HORI's Fighting Stick SS:

The Virtua Stick Pro, HSS-0130, ("Astro City stick" is not an official name so you won't find it on yahoo/ebay if you type that in) is the same quality as the HSS-0136 but very, very large. You owned an Astro City cab before, it's got exactly the same width as the panel. I never used it except for once, but I still own it for my collection. It's also a HUGE box, almost impossible to store lol.

I not really found much Sticks on ebay. So i start a WTB thread. Last step will be yahoo.jp . But cheap sticks most time need some replacement parts? Hope someone here have something for me. :dejection:
The HSS-0130 is to big for me. I will be happy with a HSS-0136.

HSS-0136 is cool. The only better alternative would be a modded stick or to use a HORI HRAP SE/SA for PS2 with a Saturn-pad-adaptor.

I bought me now a Hori Real arcade pro EX, also new Sanwa OBSF-30 and 24 buttons, and the PS360+ pcb for modding the stick. Hope this will do it. Love it to use one stick for any console.
Thanks to ave giving me the idea :friendly_wink:

I hope you remember to have bought the Saturn extension cables, an RJ 45 jack/coupler, crimpers, and drill.
All of those recommendations are fine, but they lacked the Ascii stick too.
The Saturn controller is great, but when playing shooting games, I can't stand mashing buttons with my thumb (Batman!!!)

I finished modding the HRAP EX with Sanwa buttons and the Ps360+. Awesome pcb!! Anything works fine. I tested for now PS3, PS2/PS1 and X360. Tomorrow i make a wire for SNES, DC and Saturn.

Wow, enjoy it well, especially since you spent a small fortune on this stick.

I still had one problem, finding an PS -> SS converter...
Anyone can help? Try to build one, but there is some microcontroller programming to do..
ToToTek and Koie are sold out.
