http://www.fatwallet.com/forums/hot-deals/919456/ It starts on the 26th (Sunday). There is a bunch of trash games, but there is a few like Soul Calibur IV, Silent Hill Homecoming and Devil May Cry 4. You can also order them off the Best Buy website, but many of them are already sold out. I'm not sure if this applies to Canada, so you might want to check. Also, if you are going to go, you might want to get up early. I'm heading there as soon as I get up.
Any PC games? Ah well, I'm going to go to a Best Buy in Texarkana tomorrow anyway. Gaijinpunch and AWS are probably the only members here who know where that is.
Soul Calibur 4 and stuff is worth it. I don't have a Best Buy ANYWHERE near me, so I had to order online. All they had that I wanted was Silent Hill Homecoming. 13$ isn't bad! I just hope it isn't too dissapointing. And yeah, no Pc games. Not really anything but 360 really. Good ones: Condemned 2 Devil May Cry 4 Silent Hill: Homecoming Soul Calibur 4 (360 and PS3) Cheetah Girls: Passport Ninja Gaiden DS If you want a PC deal, Steam has Orange Box for 10$. I bought it....even though I had Portal. Doh.
Well I definitely took advantage of this. I bought up my best buy's Infinite Undiscovery and Soul Caliber IV. Then traded them in for $23 and $17 per game in store credit at work.
I picked up a few items that only I would have been interested in. Warhammer Battle March and Midway Blitz 2 for the 360, and Tecmo Bowl on the DS. Not related to the $10 sale, I noticed that GTA Chinatown Wars was down to $20 so I picked that up too. All the 360 copies of Soul Calibur IV were gone by the time I got to any of the Best Buys in my town.
I don't think I'm going to buy anymore games until August. I'm sooo backed up it's not even crazy. And with games like Street Fighter... they just don't get old. Every match is different.
No way in hell would I want to work there. I work at a store called Gamers, it's a small chain in the midwest. We're the store in town that actually cares about the products we sell. I haven't shopped at a Game Stop in over a year. Technically according to our corporate we're not suppose to credit shop, but my managers are cool, and they don't care.
Good idea....but I suck at doing that. =( I actually went Jan to Feb not buying a game and sucked. Sweet!
RE5 was actually my first gaming purchase of 2009. Which is pretty good for me. After that... all heck broke loose. I bought Fifa '06, Tiger Woods '09, Dark Sector and some lame DLC *cough*Halo maps*cough*.
i've just been buying old school games. I'm buying BlazeBlue this June and whenever Marvel Vs Capcom comes out this summer on xbox live I'll be buying that.
