I've been meaning to put my Everdrive is a cart shell for a while now. A couple days ago I used a Jeopardy cart I had laying around, but it doesn't fit properly. It's as if the pegs holding the circuit board are just a bit further apart than needed, causing the casing to flex just a little bit. This causes a problem in the CDX, as its cart slot is very tight and won't accept this cart. I'm curious if others had a similar problem and which cart would work best.
What PCB revision do you have? Earlier revisions were based off a Chinese cart shell and did not fit well into regular Genesis shells. What I found I had to do was cut opening where connect comes out a little wider and this fixed most of the problem. It still wasn't perfect, but worked. Never revisions should fit into most regular Genesis shells fine.
