Sorry to ask but what this Wasp do to the gamecube?

 

I followed his sale thread. I imagine he would update it there. I know I'd be interested in three when the time comes. This is great news.

 

A modchip with its own SD card slot. Designed for wii so some alteration is needed.
SD card adapters use a memory card slot. Occasionally inconvenient since you can't insert a microphone, gamecube memory card, and SD adapter at the same time.

It's a good idea to ask how well your favorite games run with each solution. In case of issues like audio streaming.

Touchy. If all you need is one WASP why not just buy one at a small profit to Bad_Ad84? He's going out of his way to buy a batch from a supplier that likely doesn't sell these things by the pound anymore, if ever.

Just curious but what is the compatibility of the wasp? I believe I heard something like it works with every game but not with cd audio in games.

I thought you could soft-mod a Wii, so you can play Gamecube games from an SD card there? Do only some Gamecube games work that way, or are there other disadvantages to running Gamecube games on the Wii?

 

You can softmod a Wii, but some people like to use original hardware.
