i've just bought a copy of castel of ilusion for my sms and i was so amazed by the quality of the graphics! this game push the 8-bits to the limit , somes genesis games look worse than this game! and i was wondering what are the other games for each systems that push the system to the limits? ff9 seems to push the psx to is best. ff3 for the nes too. what about the other systems? wich game do you think use all the power of a console? super mario world 2 is amazing for the snes too. if you have any pictures of the games , that would be really cool too.
Saturn: PD: saga Burning rangers Dreamcast: MSR Headhunter Sonic Adventure 2 Ikaruga N64: Zelda: OOT Banjo kazooi Perfect dark Donkey Kong 64
In my opinion, Dead Or Alive 2 really showed what the Dreamcast was capable of, graphics-wise. Ikaruga also, I believe, really pushed the system with it's arcade-perfect visuals. On Gameboy, I'm a firm believer that Astro Boy is the undisputed graphics whore on my favorite little handheld - it's got some awesome sprite scaling and rotating that has to be putting a toll on things. As far as the Genny goes, I do believe that Gunstar Heroes is the best looking game there - although Alien Soldier did boast "Now is the time to set the 68000 heart on fire!!" :smt043 And who can argue Metroid Prime with the Gamecube?
I think Vectorman has some pretty damn nifty gfx effects, and from what I've heard Panorama Cotton looks pretty cool too. Some others: -PSX: Ace Combat 3 (stunning amount of polygons) -Saturn: Nights, Dead or Alive -32X: DarXide -NES: Super Mario Bros. 3, Kirby
Nes Super Mario Bro. 3 Snes Star Ocean(even though i can't read a lick of it it's got the most amazing graphics and sound on snes) street fighter alpha 2(shocked they even pulled this off at all) Dragon ball z hyper dimension Yoshi's Island Chrono Trigger Nintendo 64 Conkers Bad Fur day Zelda Ocarina of time and majora's mask Banjo Kazooie Dreamcast Shenmue 2 F355 Dead or Alive 2 Soul caliber(showed early true power of dc) Ikaruga Sonic Adventure 2 Tokyo extreme 2 aka shutoko battle 2 Msr
