So new TV time to game.

I wanted to test out the input lag, there doesn't seem to be any but I just want to make sure. I suppose most twitchy shmups would do?

For the moment I'm testing with Mega Man 8 in Frost man's stage.

Music rhythm games. No doubt about it. Load up Project Diva and you'll see quickly how much lag there is @GodofHardcore

Yep, music games are easily the best way to find lag.

Either music games or Mega Man 2 are what I use.

You could also try using a game you're very familiar with and see if you notice anything off (Mega Man 2 for me).

if you have a fast ish monitor and a camera that can do 60 or even 120fps (most phones) you could work it out..
Split an hdmi source run at 1080p @60hz (so both displays run at correct specs)
    Put displays side by side!
Play some games and maybe a split second timer fullscreen
Record at High FPS (both screens at the same time), playback slow motion

Hell, even a level in old school Mario should give you a good idea of lag. I still haven't found a TV with lag, I guess I'm just lucky.

Before starting any sort of testing, disable any extra feature of the TV that could reduce processing power.

Usually enabling GAME mode does this automatically, but be sure. Sometimes stuff like "Noise Reduction" and "Motion Smoothing" still need to be disabled individually.
