I recently got a game on which the label is beginning to peel around the edges. I'd like to glue it back on but want to make sure that I won't damage the label or the plastic, so I'm thinking of an acid-free glue stick. Has anyone used one before for this application, or can recommend something else they've been using with no problems for a long time?

What you'll find with glue sticks is, when you apply it you'll get little lumps. Also if the surface is dirty, which it would be from the original dried glue. The sticker will lift again, that's just my experience on this. So what type of glue? I can't really mention, I'm not sure.

Spray adhesive like the 3M Super 77 works well. You just need to mask off the areas (including the label) you don't want glue with good blue painter's masking tape. You may also need to peel back the label a bit before spraying. For that, use a hair dryer to warm up the area before pulling.

Another option is to use clear latex caulk/adhesive.

UHU or other general purpose clear glue should be fine. You might need to lightly sand the surface before gluing (whatever you use) to ensure the surfaces adhere well.

Thanks to all for the suggestions! I'll have to look into them and see what would work best in this situation.

    This doesn't sound sensible.

I've stuck down corners of labels on game carts before with UHU and it works fine; just sayin!

if you use spray glue, spray some into a disposable PLASTIC cup and use a fine paint brush to apply it, if its only a small part of the label
