ahh first post in a while...So I got netflix and started rewatching the whole Gundam Wing series for the first time since it aired on cartoon network, and i crave mobile suit battles, anyone got any reccomendations???

I haven't played a good Gundam game yet. Closest thing to a good Gundam style game is Zone of the Enders 1&2. I hope this will change now that Bandai and Namco have merged My ideal Gundam game would be a Star Wars: Battlefront style online multiplayer where you could take part in the series major battles. It would also have ZOE type controls.
Nah, the best Gundam game is by Capcom. They made Gundam E.F.F Vs Zeon & DX for Bandai. It was a Nozomi arcade game which you probably know means Dreamcast in an arcade cabinet. The Dreamcast version is identical in every way plus has some great music taken straight from the series. This by far the best Gundam game I've ever played and I've played an awful lot. Think Virtual On with Gundam and more action coming from robots in all directions. Yakumo
I sort of liked Side Story 0079 on the Dreamcast, though. Not a "great" game per sé, but quite good anyway. Pretty cool in my opinion. And that Gundam W fighting game on the Super Famicom (though I only played it in ROM form) wasn't bad either.
I liked Side STory on the DC. Quite fun, but it suffers the same fate as Federation vs. Zeon on the arcade and DC... lack of selecton of good Gundams. They break out the wacky shit for the Z-Gundam sequel (same engine, same HW). FYI -- those Gundam arcade games are the only ones I've ever seen have a line of people on them while VF4 was super hot.
I still waiting for the day when Capcom signs a deal with Sunrise/Bandai and release definite online Gundam title complete with Steel Battalion style wacky controller and optional HMD... think of xbox steel battalion in space with more speed and quicker response... I will be the first in the queue... he he SS - Gundam Gaiden Trilogy: so you can use the TwinStick on other than Virtual On PS1 - The Battle Master 2 PS2 - Gundam Lost War Chronicle, 0079 Zeonic Front DC - Renpou Vs Zeon DX: better version than PS2 imho GC - haven't seen one worth to play though Gundam Vs Z Gundam wasn't too shabby Xbox - really need a good Gundam title, maybe on xbox360...
yeah i remember hearing about that arcade one, a long time ago, sounded like fun, and I did find this... www.universalcentury.net cool gundam MMO not out yet. I think i am gonna import that gundam wing fighting game for the SFC i played the rom for it, and there is a reasonably (i guess) priced copy on ebay for around 40 bux with box and instructions
from memory that one is being developed by Korean company and given the popularity of online and Gundam in Korea I wouldn't be surprised if it turns out to be good!

I thought Zeonic Front was pretty nifty. A mix of Gundam and Rainbow Six, and I really like Rainbow Six.
