    Hi there everybody!

    I am about to install a MM3 in a original PS1 model SCPH-7502.
I removed the static metal shield, which was soldered on to the motherboard.
I now got the board lose, and I am able to solder the chip on it.
However I am not sure exactly where to place the chip for best performance, and for not blocking the top shield where the laser is placed.
I was told the the wire length, is an issue with these chips.
So I thought I ask in here, before I started.

    Thanks !

Looks good to me! It works I assume? Make sure you cover it with a piece of electrical tape or something.

I have covered it and it works just fine!
Some cutscenes in burned games glitches out sometimes, but that is because of the actual burn, and not chip right?

Yes. Burn, CD quality or Psx lasers problem. Even a bad ISO...
