Just an opinion thread. Shout out your favorite Sega Saturn games! I'm hungry for more, and don't want to use money on the duds. So help me out

I did get Saturn Bomberman. Found it at a garage sale last weekend, but I'm not much of a Bomberman fan. I bought it solely for the fact that it was cheap and I needed something to play.
I appreciate the comprehensive list, but I'm not much for top down shooters either. Is that really all that the Sega Saturn is comprised of? Top down shooters? If so, I'd be bummed, but I'd keep my Saturn anyhow.
Panzer Dragoon, Panzer Dragoon II Zwei, Panzer Dragoon Saga, Fighters Megamix (a bit clunky but really interesting fighter), Virtua Cop 1/2, Daytona USA (preferably the Japanese Circuit Edition, but any versions are fun anyway), Sonic Jam, Burning Rangers. Some of my favorite anyway.
Culdcept, Keio 2, Worms, Sega Rally, Metal Slug, Dezaemon 2, NiGHTS, Story of Thor 2 (a.k.a. Legend of Oasis), Herc's Adventures, Torico Gekka Mu Gen Tan (a.k.a. Lunacy), Soukyugurentai, Guardian Heroes, The Puzzle & Action game (Tant-R, Ichidant-R), Columns Arcade Collection..etc.
+1 for Arcade Gears: 3 Wonders and if you can bring yourself to give the top down shooters another chance, Layer Section is a real classic imo. Silhouette Mirage is also a great choice and the saturn has does a great job of most the Capcom one on one Fighters, SF Zero II is usually dirt cheap.
I'll add my two cents in and say Deep Fear, Biohazard, Lupin The 3rd Pyramid no Kenja, Willy Wombat, Crimewave, & Policenauts
Galactic Attack Gungriffon Sega Rally Championship Shining Force 3 Cotton 2 Panzer Dragoon,Zwei, Saga Dragon Force Get the HD version of these on Xbox 360/PS3 instead, unless you have money and want a disc: Guardian Heroes - Xbox 360 only Nights - It does control better with 3D controller on Saturn Radiant Silvergun - Xbox 360 only
NetLink! But seriously, you can't go wrong with Virtual Fighter II or the many shmups for it. I still need to check out the first House of the Dead.
Guardian heroes is a good one but is better getting it on Xbox 360 more cheaper. Radian silvergun is good but there are other much better, that game is over rated, another one to get on 360 for the price. Legend of oasis, Dragon force, Magic Knight rayearth, Panzer Dragoon all of them, also Asthal, Deep Fear and I like too Batman forever. The list goes on.
I like those rail shooters, I'm only assuming I need a lightgun for all of them. How much is too much to pay for a Sega Saturn lightgun?
$10? lol. There were a lot of good games. The trouble is, if you didn't play them originally, a fair few will look dated. Just look for games of a genre you like, and give them a try. They should be pretty cheap. And there are quite a few expensive games that are expensive because they're good. The likes of Resident Evil, Tomb Raider and Deep Fear were certainly good for their time. Bomberman is a classic, yes. It's good for RPGs - the Shining games, for example. Point-and-click games - Discworld, Myst etc. Then there were popular multi-platform games - Worms, Street Fighter, Sonic Jam was decent, Street Fighter, Shinobi, Magic Carpet, Rayman, Lemmings, Command & Conquer etc. Ultimately, though, we need to know what genres you DO like to recommend games you might enjoy. And I'd say if you see a game cheap, get it! You can always sell it on if you don't like it. Or check out a Youtube walkthrough before you buy.
