8bitpeoples is an amazing archive of fanastic 8bit artists. Crystal Castles is my FAVORITE band, and they use an 8bit synth.

*reads thread* Does not see the Protomen. I am ashamed of you guys. =P In all seriousness though I've recently taken an interest in music, and I like Crystal Castles and Anamanaguchi. Does anyone have any suggestions for similar bands?
plenty. check out 8bit peoples. They first published anamanaguchi. Personal favorites of mine are saberpulse, nullsleep, bitshifter, starscream, trash80, random, USK, Rushjet1. All of these guys are on 8Bit Peoples, the entire discography for all their artists is less than 3gigs. also check out the 32-bit handhelds. They were signed to Asaurus records, who recently stopped doing CDs. Their album came in a 5 1/2 floppy also. 8Bit Weapon also did this with some of their CDs. Of course The Minibosses, The Advantage, The NESkimos are great coverbands. and so is The Megas, who cover megaman music and sing about megaman to it.
Wow XxHennersXx thanks for the suggestions. I'll be checking those names out. Another guys i would suggest checking out is Skin Graft Machine i love that kid. He makes some rich nescore stuff. Plus he is really nice. Another name i would put out is Shirobon! , he has been doing his gameboy thing for over 4 years now.
