Lately I have been growing out my beard and people say it looks better that way, but the thing is it hasn't grown out fully. Any tips on making it grow further and grooming it?
Hey! A fellow San Diegan. I grew a beard a while back. I would still have it if the hospital didn't shave it off me in my sleep last January. But I just let it grow. I spent a little time every now and again trimming the weird stubborn hairs that wanted to defy gravity but other than that i just didn't mess with it. One bad thing about having epic bear fighter beard is that stores treat you like you are going to rob them.
Was that shaving necessary? Otherwise that's bodily harm! What a nice beard! I tried growing a beard, but I don't have strong beard growth, it looks ridiculous on me.
well buy a beard trimmer to keep it clean and nice, learn to take care of parts around mouth with small scissors... concerning making your beard "stronger" it depends from man to man, but usually shaving 100% off sometimes will make it grow thicker and faster. :033: i have to have to shave at least weekly for not looking "messy"
My beard is now approx. 12 cm long now but i want to grow it much longer. One problem is split hair ends - the beard hairs become thin, split and break. I use a special shampoo that helps with split hair ends and it works for the beard too. I also cut the ends each month with good hair cutter scissors - don't use cheap scissors when thinking about growing a beard. Don't know if there's a way that the beard grows faster. AFAIK hands off and some care to protect the growing beard is the best thing you could do.
Thanks. Yeah. They had to intubate me. Long story. When i woke up i wasn't sad that half my guts were missing, i was sad that my beard was gone.
That's a myth... if it were true then I would have faster, stronger growth every time I shave, but it's always the same. Nothing that you can do to increase the growth rate since it's all down to one's genetics. Plus beards are dirty and nasty.
Use hair conditioner for dry hair after each shampoo. Just like you would do with your hair. Treat your beard as a headfull of hair. This is what I reccomend for dry hair:
