Ive realized i never play my pc engine and saturn stuff any more so im thinking about selling them. What is the best way to go about this? Should i list each system and games as a lot on ebay, or just list individual games/systems. Or are forums and craigslist a better idea?

I'd say forums first... since they won't rape you with fees.

I started selling stuff on eBay and I'm stopping. Too much of a pain in the ass and many of the buyers are unreliable.

But that means I have a ton of stuff to list here!

I look forward to that

The only advice I can give you OP is to find other collectors, sign up to a few forums, ones specific to the stuff you want to sell, embed yourself in their community and sell what people seem to be craving. :)

yeah i wasnt looking forward to ebay so i will probably stay away from that. I dont mind selling on forums but im just not sure how to price a lot of the stuff that i have. The only value guides i have found are things like http://www.videogamepriceguides.com/tg16/ which just scrape from the over priced ebay auctions. On some of the bigger items i have a rough idea what to ask but im clueless when it comes to the oddball games like human sports festival.

Ask for a price that is more than you paid for it, but still fair to the buyer. We all like to make money, but don't gouge.

This, this, this, a thousand times this.

Retro-gaming in my area has all but died because of fucking assholes who just mark everything up to rip you off. Now everything's a "classic", and everything has to give the seller 100% profit.

Sell at fair prices, and you'll sell often, and instead of getting one moderately large profit once (and lots of bad blood), you'll get many decent profits several times and a good reputation.

Make sure to have some patience when selling and don't look for a quick sale. When you do you end up loosing out on a lot of money. I previously had a pretty nice jpn saturn collection that I sold off for less then I paid because I just wanted to move it fast vs waiting it out.

If you've got the time then sell individually, if you've got to move it fast sell as a bundle but expect to get receive much, much less than it's worth split up.

Get an eBay account and list everything as 99p starting bid - Some kid who has since grown up's mom.
