Anyone who has played WoW or any other MMO-RPG should see this south park episode I'm glad theres people of the media who knows something about VGs before making jokes about it. PS: I already cheked with one of the mods and the thread is clean.
I still want to know whether or not the "go back in time and kill Hitler" comment was an intentional reference to Command & Conquer or just accidentally hilarious.
I think is just a random joke since cartman then continues and says "I mean, I know I wouldnt, cuz the guy is cool" and there were several episodes when cartman wanted to be like hitler and actually had a suit and went around speaking in german.

I don't get South Park nor have I played WoW, but I thought it was pretty funny. The noob killer reminded me of my one week of Ultima Online (free PVP server) that made me quit in days. Too many vets kept killing me in the middle of quests and taking all my stuff.
Honestly they nailed it so perfectly. I give them such credit for going after wow. Now lets see if they will bother doing a parody of this nov launches.
I remember they did a Gamesphere one a few years back. I think doing one on this years November game console launches will take a lot less effort to make than this WoW one. All they need to do is go to YTMND or any video game related forum for a day or so for that.:nod:
Well the kids already have an X360 (shorta) althought I wouldnt say no to that since they make jokes about new consoles all the time. Not only the gamesphere but I also remember back in the 3rd or 4th season, in that episode about the tooth fairy they were collecting money to buy a Dreamcast:nod: That was the first time they mentioned a console without making fun of it. In fact, they not only made a parody about the GC but also the N64 and pokemon, which, along with the mention of the DC, makes me think that both Parker and Stone (the guys behind SP) were SEGA fanboys or something...
If you want a hoot/a video game related episode of South Park, watch the PSP/Terry Schiavo episode from last season. A classic. But then again, I love South Park.
Yeah the golden PSP was cool, but since they mention the system (and show it) so many times I wonder if that wasnt just product placement, specially since they say all the time that the PSP "is the best gaming system ever created":katamari:
