I'm going to have to check locally, if its true I'd so replacing my deadpixel laden Slim with a new shiny one, possibly. It does depend if I can pandora it and get M33 on it... I've heard that some of the new slims and also the brites can't be hacked.
Some of the newer 2000 can't be hacked since they use the new CPU that is also featured in the 3000 units. So just make sure the unit you buy is an older bundle like a silver daxter bundle. Probably stay away from the blue maden units.
