beta 2 kit question

will any random off the shelf wired controller work... i only have wireless ones and obviously they wont sync


if not what type of controller setup would i need to be able to navigate the dash board and whatnot on it,

i know the kit doesn't serve much of a purpose but id still like to be able to get it in working order

if its a prototype xenon or beta xenon, the fault is that the kv dont have the keys and stuff for the wireless stuff, any wired microsoft controllers should work.

 

Yep, they run on wired controllers, iirc, I have a feeling that my one needs to run off the usb port on the back, so if u have an issue try running yours this way...I could be wrong, been a long time since I fired it up.

So the don't have the keys at all or they just different?

If they do have them would it be possible to change the keys to say those of a retail or final dev?

 

Doubt it would work as the Beta hardware and software is a totally different beast. Also they could of officially enabled wireless on the Beta program, but they didn't.

i think itll be cool to have a functional beta 2.... now to get a final kit

 

The chinese have hacked recoveries that run on proto hardware... Make a nand backup and try them out

 

i actually have one, but it wont run at all... recognizes it but fails to run and just jumps back to the xshell
