Here is something I literally just learned about from over at emuxtras. Originally designed for the Xbox 360 phat console original controllers, this improved 3D printed D-Pad actually fits and works on the Controller S as well as the underling connective parts are built the same. It appears they charge over $7 USD for them and they come in various plastics and colors.
