This is the story about Judith and her unlost, but not yet found camera. She lost it on a trip to Hawaii, the camera had well over 500 photos on the memory card. Much to her delight she received a call from a park ranger informing her that somebody found her camera. A phone call later she found out that the camera was given to the diabetic son of the Canadian that found the camera. What is astonishing is that she actually accepts this pity excuse and works out a deal. All she wanted was her memory cards and a little bit of compensation—$50 for her $500 camera to be exact—for the camera. She received a package two weeks later that had burned CDs of the pictures and a note saying that the Canucks needed the memory card for the camera. What’s a lady to do? Of course, furiously call and demand justice! The bad Samaritan didn’t care and told Judith that she was lucky to get anything back at all. Should she just deal with it or further pursue some legal action?

PS: for the record, I'm not a xenophobe, it just funny cuz most people have this image of canada where everybody is good and nothing bad can happen. The sad reality is that there bad people everywhere, from every race and ideology, in fact I believe most humans are bad and that why this world is so fucked up.

If they have monetary problems why the fuck did they go to one of the most expensive places in the US? Probably the most if you consider the shit quality you get for your money.

 

Shadow, you are pretty new here, so let me say one thing. A lot of people will have responses such as every place has bad people but America is the worst, or Do not bash Canada I was born there!, or this topic will be locked quickly since its about a country that isnt America and is portraying country that isnt America negatively.

Yeah, it's a shame that that person wanted to keep the camera. Just goes to show that there are jerks in any country; the person being Canadian has no bearing on the story really. When you find something, the decent thing to do is to find the owner and give it back. Am I wrong???
