Roi: Even I could do a better show than that VERY scary show right there, and well I won´t do it. Since I am quite happy with Retro Core, and the show, that gave the inspiration to RTC, called Consolevania. And I surely hope you are joking about a quality show like that. Since Even retro Core 1 was better than that, and I am even maybe going to say that Gamezone TV on DK4 rocks, when I compare it with that very scary show.
Apparently, he wasn't a good boy last year and didn't get the tripod and and capture card that he so desperately needs. Anyhoo... Is it me, or do they both seem mildly retarded? No, I'm really serious. Don't they? Or is it that they just have no clue what they're talking about? Oh, and check out their Mario Bros. 2 USA bit...it's hilarious.
i think it was a joke mate. i feel sorry for them, really. I imagine this link spreading everywhere in gaming forums, with tons of people laughing and ridiculising them , while these kid only tried to entertain us.:redface: On another angle, i think they should just stop and let people that really know what they are talking about do the job. Someone should buy them a tripod and tell them filming a DS is best done while someone is not holding it :lol: And please, if you're going to film a TV screen at least do it straight on and not on an angle !! I can understand why they may sound a bit retarded (maybe a bit harsh that?) as I sort of couldn't speak well when doing the first few Retro Cores but I don't ever recall it being as bad as them I'm too afraid to watch them again. I will give them a thumbs up on the graphics used. At least they are using real video overlays unlike me and my flash stuff. Like said before, nice try but maybe rethink the whole thing over again and for Gods sake, shorted he reviews !! Makes Retro Core's eairlyer episodes seen really short. Yakumo
Yakumo: I just saw about 20 minuttes of RTC 2, and I think it isn´t bad at all, and in your old (longer) reviews, you were more adventureous, since you showed more of the game, and took it more easy, and well, it was like nothing could hurt you, while you were playing. So I don´t know why you are so scared of your first shows, when I think they are still great
Ok, well, I suppose it is nice that they tried, but I'd only try something like this if I felt I could do it correctly. That means at the very least having a tripod, a capture card, and some clue as to what I'm going to talk about. On top of that, if they're going to be standing around in front of a camera, they really need a less distracting background, ie: anything but your freaking basement/rec room. Their on camera presence is just awful...no confidence, and no clue what they're going to say. Half the time they're just fiddling with their fingers, saying whatever comes to their mind. And how about presenting yourself a little bit nicer? You know, nice shirt, big smiles. Edit: Anyhoo, I suppose I should drop this, as we're all in agreement that it's just no good. My point was that there was so much overlooked...and these two just didn't seem like the type to be appearing in front of a camera. Maybe I'll prove several of my points one of these days by digging up a production I've been in, or doing something new, should I ever get an idea.
it's not the fact that google video isn't availible in germany what pisses me off...it's the fact that it's availible IN THE NETHERLANDS!!!
