I'm sure a lot of you have seen a famous picture of this guy's game collection but I'm curious as to how many of you have read the 2006 interview with the elusive and un-named mystery game collector. I'm sure no one in the world has a bigger collection. http://www.vintagecomputing.com/index.php/archives/103
This guy claims to have the biggest collection http://www.heraldsun.com.au/technol...-game-collection/story-fn6rvxri-1226393539275
He certainly has a HUGE collection. But I'm personnaly sure there's a couple of people out there with bigger, badder AND better collection ^^
actually you're right. one guy sold part of his collection on ebay for £1m not long ago, well 1 million euros but i dont have symbol on this keyboard/cant be ass to find it. sealed pc engine fullset etc. it was just the sega/pcengine/turbogfx side of things, probably had another million in Nintendo stuff
I didn't mean Adol, I meant people out there with bigger collection than Adol but from whom we'll never hear about on internet forums or so on. One example. I once sold a rarish megadrive game on ebay to a guy from the emirates. I checked his feedback just out of curiosities and.... I remember I had calculated that the guy was spending 40 000$ A MONTH on videogaming related stuff on ebay. And that was years before all the vga bullshit. On the first post, there's an interview of this guy with this guy with the huge collection and a link to an interview of a friend of him. "VC&G: How old are you? How old is he? NV: We are both mid-30s. VC&G: Where is he from and what does he do for a living? NV: Western Canada. He sells games at the flea market on weekends and eBays during the week." The guy managed to get this huge collection with a job that doesn't make that much money (I mean, you don't become a billionaire by reselling videogames at the flea market) Imagine there's people out there that make a lot more money (and I mean, A LOT MORE MONEY) and amongst them, there's a couple of guys collecting videogames. Imagine their collection... PS: this was my 666th post
haah what a nice evil 666th post Ye i get what you mean, I know for a fact the guy from www.atari2600.com has what he says up to 20,000 games but we can't really count businesses can we? i mean if you're one man and you bought all those games i guess it still counts... Here's one thing everyone can agree on, the people with the biggest game collections in the world, WON'T show them off and for good reasons, we will NEVER know who truely has the largest.
