I was checking out Bing.com and threw in a search for "Valen Halen Live" under videos: http://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=van+halen+live&go=&form=QBVR Pretty cool....the search results show thumbnails and you just mouse over it to get a preview of the video. If you click on the actual video it will embed it for so the search results turn into its own video sharing site. Really good results, too, lots of older shows, not useless music videos. All in all, "not bad."
Nice, reminds me of a firefox plugin i used to have (forgot what its called) that would let me play youtube videos right within a google serach although this is quite cool becuase it not a plugin or anything and is part of the search.
OT: Have you subjected yourself to Mr. Brain? My wife turned it on the other day. The opening credits theme is "Jump".
What's Mr. Brain? heh I just chose something that could have gotten a lot of different results to see if they results would be good or not. I also did a search for "Old Tucson" which is the name of a movie studio in Tucson and the entire first page had only videos from people who visited Old Tucson. I have no idea how it knew I was talking about the movie studio and not something "old" in "Tucson." heh Pretty amazing search engine if you ask me.
It's another dumb fuck Japanese Drama isn't it? Like all of them it's a sack of crap. That one called BOSS that's running now is especially annoying with it's F*ing retarded camera work. What are they trying to do? Be the next C.S.I.? God, it's awful.
heh Yakumo how can you know so many Japanese TV shows and hate them at the same time? I can imagine you sitting in front of you TV shouting at it.....but continuing to watch...heh.
I do. that Boss shit is on right now as I'm using the PC and all you can hear from me is "What the fuck is the cameraman doing?" "Fucking shit acting" "I'll tell you want will happen next!" and so on. I can't stand Japanese TV, it's so God dam awful 90% of the time. Games shows are turd, dramas are turd, news programs yap on and repeat far too much making them turd oh and there's only Asia and America in the world, music shows are turd and anything else consists of piss poor comedians or eating. Only once in a while there may be a decent documentary if you're lucky. For a country that produces some of the better cars outthere you'd expect a kick ass car show but nope, not even a poor one is on. No video game shows either! No fun game show with real people. Speaking of Bing, I remember seeing the weird ass commercials for it lately...lol I started using it a little bit, and I already love it. I really like the "preview video" feature they have.
I just spent some more time with Bing...saying that a search engine is better than google is pretty bold, but I seriously think this search engine is better than google. Bing is almost a little TOO precise though, but still...it found what I was looking for in a little test I made to compare both it and google.
