You made this in XNA? Neat, I'll have to check it out. Any recommendations for a someone just starting out with XNA and wanting to get on the XBox 360?
Yup. XNA is quite versatile, except when it comes to FP calculations apparently. Graphics/physics heavy games are more of a challenge to implement, but the stuff that I have been working on don't come anywhere near the framework or hardware limitations. Though, supporting 31 player network sessions did require careful planning. Yeah, if you don't know anything about programming or game design, don't try to make and release an X360 game off the bat. The system has been flooded lately by people who have no clue what they are doing or how to ask for help. :banghead: Seriously though, just everything on the XNA website, particularly the education section and the forums.
Haha...I just saw that there was a trailer of this on gametrailers.com, so you must've caught someone's attention.
Cheap game: 80 points ($1 US). Poker Night won't be as cheap when I get done with it though...
If you're a student, or know someone who is, you may be able to get a 1 year trial of XNA through dreamspark.com, along with other software. My cousin recently started college, and i've been able to register the free trial against my gamertag without any problems. creators.xna.com has lots of sample tutorials which outline some basic and advanced programming which should help you out. I'll need to overcome my hatred of the .NET framework before I even consider attempting to make a game. @mairsil: I have a few friends who are bingo crazy, so i'll throw a recommendation their way
