These are the scans of the Japanese full Prototype version, featuring the incomplete room where you battle Yawn, Wesker in plant 42 room, orange giant spider, and the original Tyrant model.

    Here's the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G78z87h0ui4

You guys did bring us the alpha demo versions of Biohazard samples, why not do the same as the full prototype versions?

A full debug build was released last year dated Biohazard 1996-01-31. As far as I know there is a second debug build out there in the hands of collectors, possibly the one you have shown here, however right now what happens to that build is up to them! Perhaps we might see it in the future, we just have to wait and see. Thanks for sharing the scans though, I've never seen these ones, always wanted to see the build with the different camera angle on the dinning room balcony.

There is also the earliest known, 'Co-op' build of Biohazard 1 which features a computer controlled player, but whether someone has it or not is yet unknown.

Do you guy know whether the prototype pictures I posted contained the Japanese dialogue, or just an English dialogue with Japanese subtitles?

English voice acting has been used since the alpha stages of development (around the time of the 04-10-1995 build) so expect English voice acting and Japanese subtitles to be present in any and all later builds, such as this one.

I don't even think there is full Japanese VA for it, i think they either temp'd a few pieces and then decided it didn't feel right to have American characters with Japanese voices, or decided that from the start and created a few lines as a bonus for the Symphony CD.

Well in regards to the 04-08-1995 alpha build, while it doesn't have any voice acting in the game it apparetly does have voice tracks stored on the disc, however people have pointed out they are broken and won't play. Some people have suggested they were Japanese voice tracks however there's no way to really know as they can't be fixed.

Interesting, the plot thickens! I don't understand why they'd use American voice acting in an alpha build and then use Japanese voice acting in a beta build. What rewak had suggested makes a lot of sense, unless they had the script ready and brought in voice actors before development actually started.

Yeah that video showcases the lines from the Symphony disc

People said it, but no one proved it, so more than likely just another one of those special RE community trolling the RE community moments :witless:

In the two alpha builds u can hear their screams in japanese when the characters are hit by zombies or hunters... no voice acting, only screams from both characters xD

Given that all dialog is subtitled there most likely wasn't any voice work done at that point, just temp sound effects which the grunts and groans would fall under.

Seriously? The Alpha build team added a "to be continued"? Or was that made by the guy who did the youtube video?

Nop, the "to be continued" screens are in the alphas that were released some months ago

I finished both, they were very short but interesting
