Biohazard 2 Backgrounds versus Biohazard 2 Trial unused Backgrounds

Here you can see some backgrounds from the final game and the trial edtion.Very hard work to find all pictures!
On the left you see the final game and on the right side you see the unused backgrounds from the trial:

I wish they would have kept the bodybags in the morgue. Looks way creepier.

 

Was this the "trial" that came packed in with a game (totaly forgot which game) or some other "Trial"?

In most cases i like the Trial version better.. see to be more detailed (except in the places where its ovious that they weren't finished... Good stuff, thanks for sharing!

 

these screens are from the biohazard 2 trial edtion wich comes with the biohazard 1 directors cut.

 

And actually, now that i think about it, almost all of these differences are pointed out in the RE2 strategy guide that i have ( Its the BradyGames one IIRC). Nontheless, still interesting to look at these again after all these years. Thanks Kendo!

You can probably find one for cheaper than 25 bucks though, im too lazy to look for more right now, this was the first one i could find.

The book is at my moms, along with a bunch of other stuff i left there when i moved out, its like my own personal storage unit, lol. Next time im in her neighborhood ill try to remember to stop by and grab it and scan a few pages for you.

I hope its the right book,because you say your book is from brady games,but these book is from another publisher

EDIT: Ahh, i see what you are saying now. I was wrong, it is not made by Brady Games, trust me however, the one in the pic is the one with the differences. I remember it by the cover! I dont know why i was thinking Brady Games.

 

ok ,no problem.i allthough have bought the re 2 guide for N64.I hope in this guide are some infos about leons unlockable N64 costume and the robert kendo message to barry burton.This letter from hin only exist in the N64 version

 

Ouch, im almost positive that the N64 version guide wont have the differences. They are only in the PS1 version of the guide i linked to a few posts ago. Dammit, now i HAVE to go to my moms to get mine and scan a few pages :icon_bigg Who knows, maybe the N64 guide will have them too:shrug:

Theres actually a few differences between N64 and PS1, the N64 guide should show them. If not, there was a website that listed the differences between the 2, ill see if i can dig up a link for you.

but why would you need a guide in german is beyond me

 

if the guide is in german language,i will understand the text in the guide much better than in english language

i had the german version of this guide....the website of the published is not up anymore i beleive....i had the guide back in the year 1999,it was a good one but nothing special really

 

i want this guide,because i need all gameshark codes for the resident evil 2 demo and the biohazard 2 trial,because i am a great fan from demos/trials,Thats the reason why i have bought this guide
