Got this from another forum http://s89744831.onlinehome.us/nintendovids/re4movie.avi its a 69mb download so be aware of that!! its worth it..... Although Id prefer the original BH4 setting from the early preview footage, the mansion, the fish hook guy etc, I have to say, after having seen this movie and seeing how it moves, Im actualy look forward to it.... The other two games on it are Killer7, again looking like a really beautiful game...... And some weird Alien shape changing game, that looks pretty original..... Anyway enjoy it if you havent already seen it....
And the great thing is their both cube exclusive :smt040 finally some more cube for nintendo te sell.
Ah who cares, it will just be another crappy port! Resident Evil 4 though.... mmmmmmmmmmm bring it on! :smt104 :snipe: Take this ya damn yokels!
Was it just me, or does the little Girl in the picture remind you of Sherry (I've read the story and know she isn't supposed to be.....but i'm paranoid ^_^)
whoa i remember the mansion thing, did capcom change the story? btw. that killer 7 game looks gay to me... but thats just my humble opinion... :Hangman:
code veronica gfx Why does people say code veronica has good graphics? Apart from the seeing zombies outside the always hazy glass. Look at the bad textures (sometimes very bad), no lighting on people's face, and (I can't believe it) a black circle on the ground beneath the person? Does that suppose to be a mat or a shadow? :Hangman: Why couldn't capcom made a shadow? Shenmue and virtual tennis and tony hawk 2 has very realistic shadows.
......... Im going to assume they have changed the story to BH4 from the original mansion early pre-view footage. If I can find a link with the movie I'll post it. But differences from memory:Obviusly the setting, in the early preview footage it showed Leon in the original mansion from BH, being stalked by a black ghost vapor figure with fishhook/chain as a weapon. Also it showed Leon in some sort of complex with massive glass structures and fans etc(!?!?) The Leon model hasnt changed much, in the video it also made out that Leon was infected or in pain with something, as he would hold his arms and scream into the air. Ah, here we go.......just had a quick look http://b-hc.evilfactory.net/main/biohazard4/coverage.php?Section=Menu (videos are down!!) more pics http://www.gamer-talk.net/screenshots216.html and here for the video 9mb dl make sure yo have pop-up blockers off etc http://bonusweb.idnes.cz/download/trailery/residentevil4video.html Just look at the difference.....
Yeah, I have those vids somewhere on my machine....Capcom scrapped the entire original story for BH4 (All the progenitor virus stuff and the setting) and changed it to Leon is in africa fighting to find and rescue the presidents daughter...or something close to that...Oh, and those villagers aren't zombies (Capcom have tried to make it well known to us that there are no "zombies" in BH4, they have been replaced by these villagers in a stranger "trance-like state" all trying to kill Leon). I think the game looks good, but not as a Biohazard game ^_^
Capcom are always a bunch of lamos making a to be great game and then coming out with something else! Now we will be wanting that beta too! :smt043
I thought Code Veronica was the worst of the bunch. It was too redundant. Having to go through the island with Claire and then with Chris. Not to mention no real cool extras. Capcom seems to always take one step forward two steps back with this series and Code Veronica in particular. I always liked Resident Evil 3 the best even though many thought it was the worst. It was the most innovative to me. You didn't have to hit the button to go up stairs. You could make your own ammo. Although unpolished the dodge feature helped more than it hindered. It had the last of the good minigames. It was also the only game of the series since the original that actually made me tense at times because of the semi choose your own adventure style. You never knew when Nemesis would show up. Anyways I'm not too worried about zombies not showing up in RE4. I think Capcom is trying to pull a Kojima and fool the fans. What does worry me is this semi-FPS camera angles. It reminds me a lot of Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire which I didn't care for at all. I know there are going to be like three different camera views. I just prey that one of them is a more classic RE view. Also the controls aren't analog again. What is wrong with Capcom. All they needed to do is make the controls like the Devil May Cry series and they would have solved 99.9% of the complaints of this series. One step forward two steps back.
I must say I disagree about the "bad controls" in Biohazard games argument, I think the controls perfectly suit the style of game. I am not looking forward to this game, I would prefer something with similar Camera work/controls to Biohazard Outbreak, that was some sweet stuff All this "takign Biohazard to a new place" stuff is just changing Biohazard into a 3rd Person shooter game (or at least thats how it looks to me). I agree witht he Code Veronica statements to an extent....but I sitll thought it was an alright game. I disagree with some of the RE3 stuff though, that game was way too easy. I liked the ammo creation and the running up stairs, that was all good The dodge system rarely got used with me, I was good enough to not get in situations where it was needed I liked the merc. mini-game, but I still thought that was rather easy. Oh, and was it just me or was the Nemesis just kind of annoying? He didn't have the ability to follow you absolutley anywhere (like the leech dude in Biohazard Outbreak Scenario 3) and when you did meet him he was kinda pathetic. The story for BH3 was kinda lacking too, I did enjoy being back in Raccoon City...but I kinda wanted the story to expand more at that point ^_^ Anyway, I just wanted to get that out of my system....al my local friends who play Biohazard games don't appreciate them much past the "Dude, I totally blew that guys head off!!111!" ^_^
