I am interresting on listing and find dumps of the different BIOS revision Boot Rom on retail Dreamcast (not the DevKits). For the moment i only have those informations and dumps : 1.004 mpr-21068.ic501 CRC(5454841f) SHA1(1ea132c0fbbf07ef76789eadc07908045c089bd6) 1.01c mpr-21871.ic501 CRC(2f551bc5) SHA1(1ede8d5be49116a4c6f3fe0961175469537a0434) 1.01d mpr-21931.ic501 CRC(89f2b1a1) SHA1(8951d1bb219ab2ff8583033d2119c899cc81f18c) 1.022 mpr-23588.ic501 CRC(786168f9) SHA1(ba8bbb90fdb29525f24f17055dc2c7b2d7674437) It seems to have more BIOS : MPR-21086 ? (VA0 NTSC-J 3010) MPR-21933 ? (VA0 US) MPR-21871 ? MPR-21933 ? MPR-23588 ? (JPN Sakura Wars Model) I try to find missing BIOS dump file that i have not on my list. If someone could help me, it will be very nice. Regards.
Awww, it's my old friend 1.01c (MPR-21871)! You've got that listed there twice, apart from that - sorry! I have no help!
Thanks, you're right ! So after correction : it seems (for the moment) MPR-21086 (VA0 NTSC-J 3010) and MPR-21933 (VA0 US) are missing. If number id matters, MPR-21086 should be between 1.004 and 1.01c and MPR-21933 should be between 1.01d and 1.022.
Sega Dreamcast BIOS v1.01d (1999)(Sega)(EU)(M6).bin a2564fad (treamcast ?) known to exists undumped MPR-21086 (VA0 NTSC-J 3010) and MPR-21933 (VA0 US) boot roms also this > http://assemblergames.com/l/threads/so-i-finally-dumped-the-bios-on-my-pre-release-dreamcast.31970/
Well, Perhaps MPR-21086 could be in HKT-0120 - Sega Katana Development Box (Set 5.24) as a v1.011c BIOS or in HKT-3010 - NTSC-J Dreamcast (VA0). The CRC(34DA5C88) suits to one of this case .....
this is selfmade hack of v1.01d with Chinese translation added. doesn't work on real console. have no idea why people call it "EU". Katana Dev.Boxes have FlashROM (its "regular" boot rom) and EEPROM (hardware checker). there no MaskROMs, so there cant be any MPR-xxxxx labeled boot roms PS: interesting topic with some info about different DC mobo revisions and boot roms http://dcemulation.org/dumpcast/viewtopic.php?t=499 it seems this BIOS wasn't released on public, right ? too bad
