hahaha, that Robocop one is so funny. African pirate stuff really is odd. You should check out their movie posters. Some are pretty well done while others are a complete WTF experience.

    Robocop "Pride" edition.

And for the Guitay hero with Xmas music- isn't one of them a character from an anime? Looks familiar.

Wish there were more to see, the stretched/glitched face is funny on the Dubai City one.

It's weird that the pirate "company" of all these actually have a website:

SYRIAN GAMES :: Extreme Games For You!
    syriangames.com

    The covers, oh man lol.

One dollar a game on their website?

Oh god, it's too good to be true. There has to be a catch.

I have never seen a pirate PS2 silver that will run on unmodified console of any region. Do these countries assume every single user has a mod chip?

Probably; I assume original games could get to be quite expensive there.

Nearly every PS2 in Thailand is sold with a modchip. So over there would be no surprise.

Well none of those made there way to South Africa, interesting that the covers all have tell tale sighs of HK Silvers/HK Golds, for instance that glossy rainbow effect in the "Grand Theft Auto hacks that are all the same" .

HK Silvers/Golds were pretty popular about 4-6 years ago until customs and airport security wised up to game piracy, stopped allowing them into the country, now just about every one uses dvd duplicators and inkjet printers to make there own.

Quality ranged from very poor, were the discs were warped and not flat any more, to some insane reproductions that unless I told you they were pirated, or you checked to see what colour the disc was, you would think its a original (maybe not the forum users on this website but the average gamer)

99.98% of PS1 games were silvers in this country, same With Xbox 1,XB 1 as it was never sold here and everything was imported and uncontrolled.

Just about all of them were imported from China and Thailand, but these appear to be from India maybe.

If any one wants I could probably sit down and write a more in-depth blog post about Piracy and Africa, and post some pictures of the different discs a person got :)

I guess the big question here is. Who has the guts to place an order for a handful and see what happens?

I'm planning on buying some eventually. Whatever comes in the mail, I'll post it here. But maybe someone with a chipped PAL PS2 should order some so they could be played.

I've seen similar games here in Uruguay in big chain supermarkets, most of the like of GTA-something, which is basically San Andreas with the main character model changed and some banners in the streets with ads of brands local to the "something" in the title, like GTA Uruguay, lol. One that left me wondering was GTA Spiderman, anyway, if anyone wants one of those I can buy a copy if I come across one, though haven't seen them lately.
