Monday of this week I got a random text message from some girl... I subsequently drove through a stale yellow light that turned red as I went through the intersection, got pulled over by a prick english cop, was ticketed for running a "steady red light" and had my vehicle towed and impounded because the officer would not let me prove that I had insurance on my vehicle. Several days and several hundred dollars later and I actually got around to texting her back. It seems it was just a wrong number, but now we've been texting back and forth for about 2 hours and she is really cool and she doesn't live to far away. I'm not saying that it was worth the headache and the loss of my Japan fund, but atleast I may get a date out of all of this. Hopefully court will go well and I will get out of atleast some of this mess.
Could this turn out to be a blessing in disguise? PRetty funny read, and it would make a great story someday whenever your children would ask how you two met..
Maybe you shouldn't have been texting while you were driving. You're damn lucky that you didn't hurt or kill someone.
Yeah, I don't mean to be an asshole or anything, but the only thing you should be reading while driving is road signs. Still, nobody got hurt, so hope things turn out good.
I completely agree with the two of you and it's not in my general practice to be sending or reading text messages while driving. In fact I hadn't even gotten around to reading it yet. It was the damned incoming text message tone that I had set(The Star Trek TNG computer saying "transfer complete"), i rarely receive texts and it caught me off guard.
