    Have:
    -PAL French RGB modded N64
    -Everdrive 2.0 PAL
    -Latest OS

-Pioneer 50" Kuro gen. 9 plasma

    All PAL games works fine.
All other games: black screen. Sound works.

    Any clue why this happens?
Is it my TV that can't handle the "NTSC resolution" or something?

Hmm. NTSC games are 60hz, usually at or near 240p resolution.

I have no clue. All I know is that the TV ofcourse supports NTSC and both 50 and 60hz.

unfortunately your tv doesn't support 60 hz via RGB. that is the only logical explanation that comes to my mind. the sound going on suggests this.

Well, I tested another scart port that does not support RGB.
Black screen on NTSC games there too. Pal works.

My bet would be the scart cable, if you have a NTSC SNES/GAMECUBE RGB-scart it needs to be modifiedf or a PAL N64.
Cant find any good tutorial on the matter atm tho, maby someone else can help?

if the scart cable doesn't match the console (like PAL scart cable on a us snes etc.), you would get either too bright or too dim screen. not black screen.

also find out how your rgb mod is done. for example my RGB modded N64's composite output is sacrificed for c-sync. so if i plug it to a scart port which doesn't support RGB, i get black picture.

    so 2 theories so far:

    1)Your tv doesn't support 60 hz RGB
2)The scart port you are using doesn't support RGB and your console was modded for c-sync instead of composite video.

Edit: Scratch the second theory. if it was true, you wouldn't get picture on both pal and ntsc games. so most possibly your tv doesn't support 60 hz.

Easy enough to find out. Try any game with a 60hz option for PS2, Gamecube, Wii, Xbox...

He is still running the games in 50hz tho, since he doesnt mention a NTSC 60hz switch?
Either its the RGB scart or he doesnt have the correct CIC chip?

EDIT: He should get grey-scaled picture if he is running a NTSC game on 50hz.

EDIT2: That reminds me, try a normal composite cable, should be black/white/grey picture when running NTSC games, if not its probably the CIC.

EDIT3: The heck am i talking about, forget the part about the CIC, thought it was about the Everdrive there for a second, tired today ><

Yeah there's no such thing as a 50hz or 60hz switch on N64.
    The game rom decides that.

Ok, just a random thought here (and I don't have the Everdrive, nor expertise on N64 at all, do mind): doesn't the OS decide the output?
I mean: would the problem be solved if you use a 'NTSC OS'? (if this is appiclicable at all: is the OS/Everdrive/Console region-version locked onto each other?)
