It's quite rare nowadays to find "new" cancelled games for N64, even more if the original target was the 64DD and developed by an american company ( the device was cancelled in every market except Japan). So it's no surprise that Blades of Passage was never listed in the various unreleased game lists. I'm proud to present you this Pixelplay Interactive production: http://www.unseen64.net/2011/05/18/blades-of-passage-n64-dd-cancelled/
BTW I like your unreleased list but wouldn't be more useful if you don't list codename of released games in it. Where have you read the metroid 64 was in DMA Design hands? Climber was though ...
Thanks, I'm currently trying to verify the list as a lot of it is from the 64scener.com (n64 scene) days. I didn't plan to use codenames, I'm not even aware that I have heh. About Metroid 64... it's unverified but the info most likely came from a "UK" magazine, and they're known for making up stories from time to time
Quick notes about your list. Alone in the Dark 4 : first time I ever heard about it ( and I don't believe it ). However Darkworks was the developer, Infogrames the publisher. Aquaria: this one was in development by Lobotomy, too bad they were aquired by Crave. Battle Sport 2: became Battle Tanx Battle Dancer: codename for G.A.S.P. Beast Wars Metals 64: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transformers:_Beast_Wars_Transmetals Bio Tetris was relased in Japan as Tetris 64. Bloodshot: should be codename for Forsaken ( I'm not 100% because I'm going by memory but I'm sure Forsaken codename was listed on N64 release lists in print magazines ) Climber: Developer was DMA Design although internally it was known with another name. ED: codename for Tonic trouble Die Hard 64: developed by Bits Studios, later moved to GC. Jack and the Beanstalk: eh, this one was reskinned in Pokemon Snap so you know the developer ;-) Makimura 64 is a funny way to write Makaimura 64 that's obviously Ghoul & Ghost 64. Mysterious Dungeon: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fushigi_no_Dungeon:_F%C5%ABrai_no_Shiren_2:_Oni_Sh%C5%ABrai!_Siren-j%C5%8D! Need for Speed 64: this one became Beetle Adenture Racing Pod: Publisher is Ubisoft obviously. Ridge Racer V: this one must be the RR developed by NST for N64. Soldier Blade: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_Soldier:_Vanishing_Earth Suul: DD version never came out but Zool wasactually released in cartridge form. Turrican 64 = Thornado Ultimate Racer : should be the codename for Extreme G. VR 3000 = SCARS This is more or less, there are other dubious titles ( a Xena game exists for N64, Half Life lol, Velocity is known codename for Scorcher but scorcher was published by GT Interactive etc.) and some games are missing from the list.
Hmmm interesting info... A lot of the titles on my list came off magazine release lists, so they must've used codenames. Thanks for the update.
