It says version b on it, works fine on my devbox. There are supposed to be differences to the noemal ersion, but I personally cannot confirm that, due to the lack of playing this game.

Is this a american version of a Japanese version of the game?

FWIW, a Katana branded GD-R is worth grabbing as a collectible no matter what game is on it.

I've got stacks of GD-Rs here, but only one Katana branded CD-R.
