I just got a supergun last week, so I'm pretty new to the whole arcade thing. When then finally my first PCB arrived this afternoon, I tried it out and noticed that this what I was seeing there was definitely no RGB image. Bleeding colors, blurry text. Here's a picture I took, hope it'll illustrate my problem sufficiently: It's a selfmade supergun I won on ebay. By the way the RGB picture is absolutely flawless at times and sometimes, it changes to this blurry shit quality (only while actually playing the game btw, not during the Demo). Test mode looks RGBish too, no problems with the monitor test either. Hope you can help me, thanx.
I solved the problem by now. Had to screw around with the monitor's contrast and brightness, now everything looks like in the arcade
playing with a couple settings fixed that? Jeez it looked like one of my 10 year old tvs sitting in the garage lol.
Yeah, as I've been told on shmups.com, some PCBs are obviously having stronger color outputs than others do. So I decreased brightness and contrast and as a result everything looks just how it ought to be. When switching back to Saturn though, the picture is way too dark. Will have to change settings every time I change the input. proof^^:
Well, it's not too hard if you know how (maybe 1min work using a mirror) but I sell it anyway because I decided to buy a supergun made by an arcade parts shop. 75$ and it changes hands ^^ (the topic title is probably not the best advert though  )
I was also going to suggest changing the contrast, the same thing would happen in my mame cab when using a real PCB then switching over to the PC, Glad you fixed it:thumbsup:
It's always nice when it is an easy fix, looks much better. :icon_bigg That is such a fun game. ^_^_^
Wow, this is the first time I hear somebody saying something positive about Sonic Wings  Personally I think it's rather dull and slightly boring, but I keep it for collecting sake. Even SW is a shooter at last, and I collect shooters. Fuck principles.
