Looking for some info on this game.
Guess I'm mostly curious as to how many known catridges are out there. I know that DreamTR has stated that he owns/owned one, but that was years ago, so I guess he may or may not still own it. The Digital Press Guide seems to only know of one as well. Is that it? Are there more? Whom has DreamTR's copy now? Hope I'm not being to nosy.

Oh, and if anyone on here knows why it was canceled as it was complete, I'd be interested to hear that as well.

The show was one of my favorites as a kid, so I'd appreciate any info on the game that anyone can give.

Wasn't there one on ebay a few months ago?...could have sworn I saw it - the seller had a bunch of other dev carts for auction as well.

There was indeed. The auction showed one screen shot and a photo of the cart, but that was all the info provided.

Eeeerhm, I think I have played that prototype game, about two weeks ago, from a rom I got on limewire. So the rom is released so to speak. I got it from a big SNES rom collection, so it is out there. And no, I am not BSing you guys.

Bobby's World has been available as a ROM since the mid 90's. Yes, I was a ROMZ kid getting all the latest SFC/SNES games before they even hit the store from such classic groups such as Anthrox, Elitendo, Magical, Cynix and others. Ahh, they were some fun days but now that I'm all grown up with a regular income It's much more fun to buy the originals.

that about sums it up for me too. :) A rom collection is nothing special, a wall of games gets a "wow" from gamers and nongamers alike.

Well, I just play some roms every now and then and I don´t collect roms I just play them now and then. Even though I prefer playing them on real carts, but I just can´t afford all the carts I want, so every now and then I get the urge to play some games through an emulator, and afterwards. I just delete the shebang. But please don´t give me any kind of double standards. Since those I am aware off , and especially those in my reply.

i didn't even see your first reply in this, i thought Yakumo was simply pointing out that the game rom has been in circulation.

Yes I was. I couldn't care less who uses roms. I use them myself. In fact last night I was checking out the Mega Drive version of Super Thunder Blade on GENS because I wanted to see how it differed to the X68000 version (Which I did own on original). There’s nothing wrong at all using roms on the odd occasion apart from the old "we're steeling from the company" morals. Normally you find that the people pushing the NO ROMZ rules are in fact users themselves. I know for a fact that there are one or two members on this board who would swear on their lives that they never play roms or CDR discs and are dead against them but do in fact own them. It's great knowing a lot of people isn't it  Dirty little secrets everywhere.

I felt inspired and watched a little "Bobby's World" on YouTube today. I never realized how absolutely annoying his little voice is. I still love the intro though... it owns! Swingin' down with that spider-thing... mmm...yeah...

John Tesh wrote and performed the theme by the way; check the credits.

I had a poser back in the day...'I'm not picking my nose I'm pointing to my brain'. Still don't know what happened to it.
