Not sure if anyone played Bomberman R, a launch title for switch. It was a great multiplayer game, perhaps a bit overpriced. But the online was so bad it was unplayable, and it was a problem on Konami’s end not Nintendo (considering Splatoon, Mario kart, even Payday 2 work flawlessly online.) Now it’s coming to PS4 and Xbox 1 and each with exclusive characters, master chief and ratchet and clank. And perhaps with a competent online mode if we’re lucky. Personally, I’m excited because I loved this game and it was a shame how it turned out. On the other hand, I have to buy the game again and one less game to play on switch so I’m a little pissed off. But to be frank, the game was going nowhere in it’s current state on switch, and I appreciate that Konami is not yet giving up on the potential this game has. (I also love the massive free update that’s on switch and that will likely be available free on PS4 and Xbox) Anyone heard about this? Is anyone else excited or mildly interested? I played the game at Tokyo Big Site days after the Switch announcement and was very disappointed at its poor performance and bizarre choice of camera angle. I chalked it up to being because it was a pre-release build, but then it actually came out like that... such a disappointment. So if it doesn't run like hot garbage and has the proper overhead view, I guess I'll buy it once it gets down to $10 or less.
