A fellow local DC gamer I've got to know recently received a sealed copy of Border Down LE for the DC. He showed it to me, and trouble is, it's not a tear strip? I told him it may be a reseal in which event he should return it if he's looking for a factory-sealed copy of the game. So anyone who bought Border Down LE new - did it have a tear strip? Or did it just coem with normal wrapping?
Unles someone can show me otherwise, I don't think any double-case DC game came with the tear strip. In fact, quite a few single cd case games came in normal shrink-wrap too. I bought three of these when they came out, but honestly don't remember. Just to make sure, I checked JY. Not the best picks, but I can't see the tear-away. http://page13.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/r9053200 http://page10.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/m10664370 both are listed as sealed.
hmm, I'll take a look at mine when I get home. Only a very few Double cased DC games had tear strips. 90% of single games had them bar those stupid thick single cases. Yakumo
It's been a while since my copy when from sealed to usable, but I don't recall the tear strip being a part of the shrinkwrap...
