The local HMV store is closing down and they have Borderlands 2 very cheap, Do I need to play the original game before this one? Or does it take a more final fantasy approach to sequels?
I have borderlands 2 for mac as many know borderlands one isn't for mac. With that said I can say with out a doubt if you pick up borderland 2 not much from the original game is in it. At the end of the day its your decision.
You dont need to have played Borderlands 1 but it would help for you to understand a little of whats going on
I never played the first one, but read some of the story on the internet before i started playing Borderlands 2.
I played the first one and I'm going through 2- story doesn't really cross over, you'll be fine. Maybe just read the plot line summary on Wikipedia or something, just in case.
