    Thanks for the information. Gearbox has always been pretty nice with their borderlands afficionados (not with the Alien and Duke Nukem ones haha). If this is not a bug, the is another cool gift from Gearbox !

    This has to be on purpose, It's been there for 7+ hours.

    From Gamespots article:
    Update: Microsoft has confirmed Xbox Live members will be able to play multiplayer games across Xbox One and Xbox 360 from October 27 until October 30. An Xbox Live Gold subscription is not required, as this event is open to everyone.

    As part of this, Microsoft is offering access to Borderlands: The Handsome Collection for free up until October 30.

    "This is a great opportunity for players across both consoles to experience one of the most-popular benefits of Xbox Live Gold membership; when it comes to multiplayer gaming, network reliability is everything. Log in now to play on a network that delivers as well as you do."

    In which case, I guess you'd have to buy it at the discounted price they're also offering if you decided it was a keeper. In the UK, it's £18 and it looks like that's until 1 November (clever leaving it running a couple of days longer than the free trial)!
